Eight years since the EnduroSix first arrived on the now bulging UK enduro calendar, leading online retailer Wiggle has just announced that it's taking over the position of the headline sponsor of the event.

Catton Hall again hosts the early season enduro on the 26-27 April, with 500 competitors expected to line up at the start of the six-mile course. The venue provides a challenging course, with its share of reasonably tough climbing and fast singletrack sections making for an enjoyable ride.

The event runs, as it always has, a 'parc ferme' format, whereby before the race you're allocated an amount of space with which to contain all the supplies you'll likely need for the duration. Once the race starts, there's no nipping back to the car for another energy gel.

New for the event is the Wiggle Thunder Run on Saturday, a 10k off-road run, and later the same day the Focus Demo Day takes place, with the course open for practising. Then in the evening the Focus Night Time Trial, challenging riders to one hot lap of the course.
