Jamie Houssain and Darcy Wittenburg, the creative driving force behind the Collective and Roam, are back with Seasons, the follow-up to the two hugely popular films.

When it launched back in 2004, it's fair to say that The Collective set a new benchmark of what to expect from MTB films, providing a much needed breath of fresh air from the usual rush of wham-bam riding and ear-splitting punk/rock music.

The team followed in a similar vein with the equally impressive Roam, but Seasons sets out to do something slightly different to the first two films. Seasons follows seven of the world's top mountain bikers through the course of four seasons in one year, aiming to explore what it means to be a full-time rider as told through the lives of downhill racers, slopestyle competitors and big mountain freeriders.

Riders featuring are a who's who of top MTBers, with Darren Berrecloth, Matt Hunter, Cam McCaul, Steve Peat, Andrew Shandro, Steve Smith, and Thomas Vanderham all lending their time to the latest film.

The final touches are now being put to the film, with the World Tour starting in April and the DVD available in May. Filming has been non-stop for the last twelve months.

“The film has been a ton of work for everyone involved,” says Jamie Houssian of The Collective, “so it's nice to finally see it come together in the studio. It's a new type of film for the action sports genre. We're stoked to show people something a little different”.
