Day 1
The Ticket2RideBC team collect you from Vancouver and shuttle up the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler and the T2R Rider Centre (that's it in the picture). They've got a fully-equipped workshop and mechanics, so getting your bike out of travel mode and ready to ride will be a breeze. Come evening, there's dinner in the chalet and a quick Q&A to get everyone up to speed.
Day 2
Time to ride! The trip includes a dash of skills training, so the first local introductory ride will include a skills review so T2R know what they've got to work with. After lunch, it'll be time for a tour of Whistler's legendary Bike Park, with T2R's guides fast-tracking you to the best bits.
Day 3
There's more to Whistler than the Park - today sees the group venture a little further afield for a full day of some of the best local Whistler singletrack. And that's the best of a brilliant bunch.
Day 4
Day trip out to nearby Squamish for another packed day riding the great (and relatively little-used) trails around there. Then back to the lodge for dinner.
Day 5
It's backcountry time, as the T2R 4x4 takes the group up into the Chilcotin mountains to get away from it all. The overnight is in an isolated lakeside cabin.
Day 6
Deeper into the backcountry courtesy of a floatplane trip up to Spruce Lake at 5,300ft. Then back to the lodge at Whistler at the end of the day.
Day 7
Another lesser-known BC gem rummaged out, as the group heads to the dry and dusty trails of Pemberton.
Day 8
A day of choices: Vancouver's famous North Shore, local Whistler singletrack, the Bike Park or stump up a few extra dollars for the unique heli-drop experience?
Day 9
The last day of riding, and a hefty dose of Bike Park to finish. The afternoon sees a big group ride and the opportunity to marvel and how much better everyone's riding has got... with a big group ride in the afternoon.
Day 10
That's all, folks - time to head home.
Draft itinerary, all subject to alteration, it'll look something like that though...
