The Charge Bikes Set 2 Rise 12 hour enduro takes place this weekend (17/18 May) at Hill Wood, Wiltshire, and if you're quick you can still enter.
The newest 12 hour enduro to hit the UK MTB calendar is sponsored by Charge Bikes and organised by SPAMBiking, and will be the first 12-hour enduro to be held on Salisbury Plain.
We've already mentioned the huge pile (we're not kidding) of prizes up for grabs previously.
Racing starts 6pm Saturday, with timing from TimeLaps.co.uk, and Lumicycle will be on standby with lights and charging points for all solo and team riders, pairs and singlespeed entrants.
A demo day, with bikes available from many top brands, including Charge Bikes, gets going on Saturday lunchtime. Expect usual amenities such as refreshments, live music and camping facilities.
Flying the Charge Bikes flag will be Abi Greenaway, Sam Humprey, Mike Smith, Superted, Ren, Chris Akrigg, Chris Smith, and Penman. There'll be a barbeque on the go and the Charge jumps backed by some live music should make for a relaxed start to the weekend.
Charge Bikes head honcho Nick Larsen says: "Charge's Sam Humphrey is riding solo (and gunning for the win) and Chris Akrigg has opted to ride in a pair, the rest of us are riding the 12 hours as groups of 4."
