National XC Championships this weekend

Who is your money on? Liam Killeen or Oli Beckingsale?

This weekend signals the National XC Championships and with it the last chance to see in action on home soil the UK's two hopes of an Olympic medal in Oli Beckingsale and Liam Killeen, with Beijing just weeks away.

The National XC Championships is being held at Crow Hill, Ringwood, Hampshire, this weekend (19/20 July) and all eyes will be on the performance of the two Olympic hopefuls. Both riders placed inside the top ten at the recent World Championships, so its clear their form is good at this stage in their build-up to the August Olympics.

Besides watching Oli and Liam duking it out, there's all the action split across the usual categories in the morning, including Sport, Open and Fun - you can race at near enough the same times as the two riders destined for China.

Entry is available online (until Wednesday 5pm) and thereafter some entry on the day will be possible. Full details and online entry at www.pedalon.co.uk.
