Diamondback has let slip details of its two latest bikes to make their way onto bike shop stands in 2009, with the existing XTS Moto and XSL getting significant makeovers.

With a year of development behind it, the new XTS Moto, the company's long-travel bounce bike features a revised frame that's lighter yet stronger. Geometry has been tweaked, bringing it inline with the Sabbath (DB's gear box bike) and as well as that a sliding shock mount allows for an adjustable head angle and bottom bracket height. To ensure the bike withstands some abuse, pivot bearings jump to 30mm items.

“The bike has been a year in development and testing process by our riders, all this has proven worth while as the bike in both its Freeride and DH form rides sweet” Mike Sanderson Diamondback Product Manager.

The 5” single pivot bike described by Diamondback as the “perfect trail centre bike”, the XSL, gets a rejigged swingarm with changes focused on making it stiffer.
