Some of the goodies up for grabs in Trail Break's charity auction

Trail Break holds its final dual event weekend of 2008 this weekend (6/7 December) from Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the South Downs at Petersfield. The weekend features two great days of offroad riding with a Southern Trail Ride on Saturday and Navigator Racing on the Sunday.

The Saturday Trail Ride also features the charity Big Santa Ride, raising money for Save the Children. Running alongside this is an online charity auction in aid of the appeal, that features some choice selections for road and off road riders alike.

A selection of the industry's finest have offered a mix of goods and services to sell off in aid of the appeal. Top of the pile is a Liguigas Team Issue Cannondale SystemSix road frameset, worth a cool £1,400. There's also a Decathlon Rockrider MTB, a custom Exposure Joystick light, a package of Memory Map goodies, a full season of sportive entries and more. The System Six frameset is an exclusive piece of Pro Tour proven carbon technology, as ridden by the Liquigas pro team. With a price tag of £1,400 this is an elite riders dream machine, but this auction could be your chance to pick up this top level piece of kit at a bargain price.

For off road duties, the Decathlon Rockrider 8.1 fits the bill. One of the best bargains on the market it's outstanding value, with a dependable ride and a strong level of kit built around an exceptionally good frame. The bike up for grabs was used as review bike by Bikemagic and had the good fortune to be tested in a period of good weather, so it's got about 50 dry miles on it.

Besides the bikes, there's a custom etched Xmas Camo Exposure Joystick MaXx for all your lighting needs and a bumper package of Memory Map products including south of England mapping, 1:25k mapping of the area of your choice and a selection of classic Southern Trail Ride routes.

There's a couple of specials for the Sportive rider too. A free entry pass to every single Trail Break Southern and Sunday Sportive event in 2009 (with the exclusive No.1 for your bike in the Southern Sportive), and a pro photo session with Animal UK photographer Carl Wilson, to feature on the 2010 Southern Sportive publicity brochure.

All items will be listed on Ebay for Charity over the next fortnight, with every penny bid donated to Save the Children. It's a great way to grab yourself a something special for Xmas and help out a good cause too.
