Last year Commencal launched a limited edition version of the Meta 55, in collaboration with its UK distributor Madison, that featured a full Shimano XT groupset in celebration of that group's 25th anniversary.

It clearly proved such a success that Madison are at it again, releasing the 2009 Meta 55 UK. It's based on a stock Meta 55 frameset but featuring a UK-tuned finishing kit comprising of a Fox Float 140RL fork with a QR15 axle and a mix of Shimano XT with a sprinkling of brand new SLX bits.

And to finish it all of, a special black and green paintjob will ensure your limited edition bike will turn heads out on the trails. The asking price for this little lot is a VAT-reduction friendly £2,153.18 , and will be available in the next couple of weeks.
