Organisers of the first 24 hour event of the 2009 season, CLIC24, have launched a brand new website packed with details about next year's event, which takes place on 16/17 May 2009.

CLIC24 has always been about raising money for children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent, but the 2009 event will inevitably have a poignant edge - organiser Neil Wilkins lost his wife Helen to breast cancer in October.

"I now feel first hand what it's like to lose someone to cancer," says Neil, "and this makes me ever more determined that CLIC24 2009 will be both a celebration of the lives of those who lose their battles to the disease, at the same time as helping those who will eventually recover, through the turmoil and distress of one of the toughest experiences life can throw at us."

CLIC24 will once again be held on the Mendip Hills in Somerset. Full details at www.clic24.org.uk.

I am hoping to put a 4 man team together from local riders and solo it myself + take pictures again which you'll have free-gratis.
