Edge Composites is company that specialises in carbon fibre components, and having started out with rims is now moving into accessories. The company's products will be more familiar to weight conscious roadies, but it's keen to appeal to MTBers and its Mountain Flat handlebar should certainly do so.
The Mountain Flat bar weighs just 145g for its 24in width. Sweep is 5° and there's the choice of 31.8mm and 25.4mm clamp sizes. Edge say it is “light enough to satisfy the weight requirements of the lightest cross country rigs, while strong enough to inspire confidence for larger riders.”
