Châtel Mountain Style Event 2009

This weekend sees some of the best freeriders heading to Chatel (Pic: Shaun Spomer)

The Châtel Mountain Style Contest is a downhill event with both freeride and slopestyle disciplines thrown in, and some of the worlds best riders are packing their bags and heading there this weekend.

Riders confirmed for this event include Steve Romaniuk, Darren Berrecloth, Ben Boyko, Kyle Norbraten, Curtis Robinson, Sam Pilgrim, Kurtis Sorge, James Doerfling and many more, too many to print here.

The jury, judging the best moves through the competition, will include Cédric Gracia, Ben Walker, Arnaud Kugener and Will Walker.

Chatel Mountain Style 2009

An awesome event last weekend here in Chatel. Some of the best in the world competed on this amazing permanent slope style area. A riders dream! Multiple lines - none easy, and it was challenging to even get down, let alone with any flow or style. technical single track, big hits and blind drops and jumps., this event just gets better & better every year plus pretty cool dirt contest in the village centre on Saturday night.
