Big In Bavaria is a dirt jump competition in Munich, Germany on 23-26 July and will attract the usual bunch of handy freeriders out to impress with their big moves and tricks.
The course is near completion, with an impressive 1,200 tons of dirt used to form the super sized jumps, with another 800 tons still to come. That's a lot of dirt.
But they need it all if the riders are going to pull some massive moves, which they should if an 8m high start ramp is anything to go by. That's followed by a step-down, a double with an 11m gap and a whole raft of insane jumps on the 180m long track.
Some of the confirmed riders who have the skills to ride such a course include Darren Berrecloth, Andreu Lacondeguy, Sam Pilgrim, Trond Hansen, Cameron Zink and many more. And they'll all be vying for the €20,000 on offer to be spread between the winners of the mountain bike and BMX categories.
