Cannondale 2010 highlights

Recently we brought you news of two of Cannondale's brand new bikes for 2010, the super lightweight carbon Flash hardtail and the RZOne20 120mm full-susser, and now we can bring some more highlights from what you can expect from Cannondale next year.

Moto

Cannondale 2010 highlights

Introduced last year, the Moto is pitched at the lightweight-but-sturdy all-mountain category, packing 160mm of travel into a reasonably light frame with enough heft for demanding riding. Updates are relatively minor for the 2010 Moto, but improved geometry and revised shock links lower the bottom bracket height and slacken the head angle. There's now also a HammerSchmidt equipped bike (the Moto 3) and weight has been decreased across the board. Prices start at £2,299 and the HammerSchmidt model costs £3,199.

Rize One40

We talked about the new Rize One20 last time but let's not forget that Cannondale has also raised the platform to accommodate a healthy 140mm of travel. Available with carbon or aluminium frames to suit wallet sizes and a new 3D forged seat tube is said to be stronger yet lighter. Look forward to BB30 models, a new Lefty and an exclusive to Cannondale Fox fork. Pricing starts at £1,899 and rises to an eye watering £6,999.

Rush Carbon

The Hi-Mod carbon Rush, the 110mm all-day marathon riding bike now gets a little cheaper: the range now starts at £2,199. Cannondale's BB30 has been extended to the Rush range too, and there's a new oversized head tube with integrated bearing cups to reduce weight and exclusive Fox forks.

Flash Aluminium

The Flash Carbon raised many eyebrows when we published news of it recently, but while the range starts at a pretty reasonable £1,999, many will be interested to know that an aluminium version of the Flash will extend to three models and start from just £1,299. 6061-T6 hydroformed aluminium is used along with S.A.V.E seat and chainstays along with BB30 bottom bracket and oversized headtube with integrated bearing cups.

Trail SL hardtail

Finally in our roundup of all that is new from Cannondale for next year is the smart looking Trail SL hardtail. Designed to be less racy than the Flash and prices starting from just £449, frames will be double butted aluminium with S.A.V.E technology for comfort, oversized headtubes and Fatty or standard suspension fork options, with all models equipped with disc brakes.
