Marzocchi 44 RLO and 55 RV forks

For 2010 Marzocchi is on a mission to totally revamp its entire suspension fork range, and over the past few weeks has been leaking out snippets of information to us.

Today we can tell you about to the company's entry level trail fork, the 44 RLO and the 160mm travel 55 RV. The former is a direct replacement for the MX series, and offers up 100mm or 120mm travel adjustable to 80mm and 140mm by swapping a few spacers inside the fork.

Also inside there's a new rebound and lock-out cartridge, an open bath air spring, 32mm alloy stanchions and an alloy steerer giving a competitive weight of just 2160g. It'll cost you £229.95.

25mm stanchions on a fork with 160mm travel? Surely that's a mistake? Even XC forks gave up sub-30mm stanchions a few years ago!
