Sunline V1 seatpost launched

Component manufacturer Sunline has now added a brand new V1 seatpost to its range to perfectly match the existing V1 handlebar and stems.

The V1 seatpost supposedly offers XC weight but with DH strength, and is made from 2024 aluminium alloy with a one-piece shaft and head design. A unique "worm gear" clamp allows for easy angle adjustment with a twin-bolt assembly securing the saddle rails in place. The clamp is a generous 40mm long.

Three sizes, 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm, and all all in 400mm length will be available. Initially just a black anodised colour with laser etched graphics will be available but more colours will be added soon. A 27.2mm example weighs a claimed 280g.

The V1 seatpost will cost £79.99 and available from www.mmasports.com.

Great article, but wouldn't it have been useful to actually quote the weight...

since that is the USP?
