Seb Rogers October photo course: Place available

Seb Rogers photo weekend

Ace MTB lensbloke Seb Rogers's last photo course weekend will take place on Somerset's Quantock Hills on 16-18 October. These courses have been fully booked since the dawn of time (or at least the whole time they've been running), but due to factors outside anyone's control, someone's had to pull out of the October one and thus a space is available. Yes, it's short notice, but if you can make it and you've been waiting for a chance, here it is.

You'll be getting a long weekend of riding, photography, instruction, discussion, cake, tea, beer and good food. Seb will be doing all of the photography instruction, I'll be showing the way and riding short bits of trail for your camera as many times as necessary. Bed and breakfast accommodation is located a short ride to the trails we'll be using, and a short stroll to the pub. A place on the course is £375, including said accommodation, packed lunches, afternoon tea and cake, all guiding and instruction - we throw in some bad jokes and inane banter for free, usually.

If you're keen to take better riding pictures, if you've got a load of kit that you don't think you're getting the best out of or even if you're wondering how those shots in the magazines come about, this is your course. Dates for 2010 courses have yet to be decided. In fact, the number of courses for 2010 is still up in the air, so places next year could be thin on the ground - if you're thinking of doing the course, you'd be well-advised to do it now.

Want to find out more about what you're getting? Spare a few minutes to read our own story from the first course in 2007 and blog postings from previous attendees Neil Hodgins, Andy Matthews and Alex Leigh. Sarah Shaw and Neil Hodgins both have galleries of shots taken on the course, while a bunch of others can be found at the Seb Rogers photo course Flickr group.

If you're inspired by that little lot (and how could you fail to be?), you can find further details on Seb's blog or just contact him directly. Rest assured that you'll be getting my very best sticky-out elbows...
