DMR Wingbar handlebars recalled

DMR Wingbar handlebars recalled

DMR Bikes has issued a voluntary recall of its Coloured Alloy Wingbars sold since June 2009.

The safety issues has been identified with the 25.4mm anodised alloy Wingbar, and riders should stop using the handlebars immediately.

DMR says: “Consumers should stop riding these any bicycle fitted with these handlebars immediately and contact an authorized DMR Bikes dealer for a free replacement handlebar. DMR Bikes will be supplying new replacement handlebars for all affected customers.”

This recall DOES NOT affect the following bars:
DMR Alloy Wingbar - 31.8mm with 'classic graphics'
DMR Alloy Wingbar with 'classic graphics'
DMR Cro-Mo Wingbar with a brace
DMR Heat treated Cro-Mo Wingbar
Any DMR bar fitted to a DMR complete bike
