Strengths: The countryside round Monachil is fantastic - there's great singletrack from virtually outside the house where we stayed (although up a fairly stiff hill!). Wide variety of riding too - fire road climbs, singletrack along the edge of massive canyons, rock gardens, dry river beds, rooty forest. Our accomodation was great too - a big house complete with pool for when you don't fancy the heat. Granada only a short cab ride away too for some top bars. Transport was provided (pick-up from Malaga, and lift up to ski resort) which made things v easy. And it was dead cheap too.
Weaknesses: Hot in the summer, but then what do you expect for southern spain?!
Overall: Would recommend to anyone considering a non-UK holiday. Shaun the guide is a great guy - really helpful and knowledgable about the trails, fixing bikes, first aid, and the local bars. Top marks, will definitely be back.
Strengths: monichil is a great base for riding these superb hills - closer than most to the airport. Shaun has worked out the best all day trails, tough lung busting climbs and every kind of full on technical descents- all delivered with confidence and passion. It makes for a great holiday atmosphere and full on 'all mountain' biking experience. The Sierra Navada trails really live up to everybodies descriptions and this is a great way to fully experience tham.
Weaknesses: if you want all mountain riding thhen you will have no complaints..
Overall: a fantastic trip, priced well, great fun accommodation in a cave, lovely base to ride from, short airport transfer (getting shorter from granada soon), and a great company looking after you. Enjoy it soon!

Strengths: This holiday is for you if you love epic rides with big climbs, stunning scenery, and awsome varied decents over all types of terrain imaginable. As a guide Shaun is highly reccommended pushing all of us to our limits. Fantastic value. We F*@cking loved it.
Weaknesses: No ice riding.
Overall: A great package, we fell into the pace of local life very quickly enjoying great food and beer wherever we went. Superb point to point or centre based riding everyday, we couldn't fault it and won't forget it.
