'EXCELLENT HOLIDAY - FANTASTIC RIDING WITH LUXURY'
Strengths: The routes were brilliant, well researched and included some great single track. Pure Mountains offered a great variety of riding and were able to tailor the routes to the groups abilities. The accommodation is top quality as is the guiding, the hire the bikes, the food, the mechanical back up and bike fixing. Having the lunch provided by landrover support is a huge bonus.
Weaknesses: None
Overall: This was our first time with Pure Mountains and they looked after us so well. Having been on several mountain bike holidays I have to say that the way Pure Mountains organise the days and evenings is the best we've known. We will definitely return for more. Pure luxury.
Strengths: The biking can be tailored to suit the needs of your group. 6 of us went and that included an 18 month called Lara who was attached to the back of Dad's bike in a chariot. Tim and Jenny were perfectly happy to adapt the riding to suit, and there was still plenty of single track for those of us who wanted it.
Weaknesses: The fact that there are three nights off where you have to get your own food. They spoil you every other night and after a day in the saddle we really did not feel like going out.
That said we were able to use the kitchen and stay in and cook for ourseleves.
Overall: The best way to explain the pure mountains experience is that it is like meeting 2 new friends ( 5 if you include the dogs) and then being invited to stay at their luxury house and go out biking togehter in a great location.

Strengths: Tim and Jenny were excellent guides and took care of all abilities in the group very well. The hire bikes were great, reliable and well-maintained. The food and the welcome we received were abolsultely top-drawer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pure Mountains.
Weaknesses: I would like to have been in a group with vaguely similar abilities and fitness levels. I think that weeks should be "labelled" beginners, intermediate and expert just so that there is not too big a gulf between rider abilities.
Strengths: Single track was Brilliant. The views were spectacular and the whole thing was so well organised and flexable.
Weaknesses: Takes a day or two to acclimatise to the altitude.
Overall: The good organisation and friendly atmosphere made all the difference to this hoiliday. The team are flexable and can fashion the holiday to suit your groups ability. You can do the easy stuff or the scarry stuff. It's up to you. There's plenty of scope for both. The accomadation is very comfortable and food good. Beer and wine in the fridge. What more do you want? Go for it!!
'THE BEST VIEWS, THE BEST SINGLETRACK AND THE BEST WELCOME!'
Strengths: If you are looking for a real mixture of riding, fireroads, singletrack,switchbacks, technical climbs then this is the place to go. There is so much to choose from, that the rides could and were tailored to suit everyones needs and abilities.
Weaknesses: None, well maybe one, you have to come back!!!!!
Overall: From the moment we were picked up I knew it was going to be a great experience. The drive to the cortijo (farmhouse) was long enough for the members of our group (who had never met before) to get to know one another. Waking the next morning to the amazing scenery, I couldn't wait to get started. A hearty breakfast of porridge, Camelbaks strapped on and we were off, followed by the landrover support. Tea break, lunch and return to the farmhouse went by in a blur. I was enjoying every pedal stroke and felt like a 15 yr old again!
I couldn't recommend this holiday enough. I returned to the UK with a spring in my step, fantastic memories and a plan to do it all again next year!
Go on try it , with the effort and enthusiasm that Jenny and Tim show everyday you can't help to be inspired.
