Strengths: Comfortable The mesh really does keep you cool Decent value at 20 quid
[Update 07/09/06] they do last - had them over a year now, but the lettering comes off
Weaknesses: Won't fit the largest of hands No protection in a crash I wonder how long they wil last
[Update 07/09/06] still don't want to crash with them on velcro tabs seem to come loose, they aren't very adjustable as i have quite skinny wrists compared to xxl hands.
Overall: A great xc and road glove for all seasons except winter Downhillers and those with huge hands go elsewhere
[Update 07/09/06] still a great glove when the temperature is above 10 degrees or so, can even be worn on the hottest days. nice and tacky and very little padding so you can 'feel' your bike really well. i'm thinking about getting a glove with a little more protection though
Weaknesses: Velcro can occasionally catch on other bits of clothing, stitching could be a little bit stronger.
Overall: I've found these to be excellent XC gloves throughout the year except for the depths of winter. I'd say they're good down to about 4 or 5 degrees C, then you'll want to go for some undergloves or something a bit more heavy duty.
In the heat of summer, they do make your hands sweat a little, but I find them very breathable and they dry out pretty quickly.
The BG padding feels a bit odd at first as you never know if you're wearing the glove properly - it doesn't give the immediate feeling of palm padding, but then it's not supposed to. It protects that all too famous 'ulner' nerve and helps keep numbness at bay for hours on end.
I've had these for almost a year and half now and they're still a great fit and the leathery bits are still as durable and grippy as ever, with a reinforced bit between first finger and thumb for those grip-shifters. The only suspect bit is the stitching near to the velcro strap - it's starting to come away but it's still a fully functional glove.
Also, because the 'sitcky' bit of the velcro strapping is on the inside of your wrist, I find it sometimes inconveniently catches on some of my other clothes.
I would not hesitate to buy another pair of these, and I think the later versions have a better BG pad design.
Overall: A fantastic (almost) all-season glove whose BG blurb lives up to its hype.
Strengths: A comfy glove with a pad on the base of the palm that does give some relief against numbness. There is little other padding so you may need soft handlebar grips. There is enough towelling for wiping runny noses and to protect twist shift users. The silicon strips on the fingers aid gripping brake levers and the velcro fastening gives a good fit.
Weaknesses: The sizing is on the small size with the thumbs being perhaps too short, check carefully before buying. Not a winter glove.
Overall: Just how many features can you have on a pair of gloves!Great design.
Strengths: Good fit.Easy to clean.Body geometry pad has cured my numb hands
Weaknesses: Can be a bit drafty for some people.
Overall: Brilliant glove for a decent price.I very rarely get cold hands so these do me ok in harsh winter weather as well as summer sun.If you get any summer sun that is!

Strengths: Comfy, good all year apart from really cold days, dry quickly, when dirty bung them in the washing machine and they come up like new.
Weaknesses: some of the lettering has come off!!! Apart from that NONE.
Overall: At first you think £20 is a lot for a pair of gloves, but these guys do it all and they last for ages. After your lid ,gloves are the most important bit of kit to have so get some good ones, get these!
