'PIMPY LOOKS BUT NOT HARDCORE'

Strengths:
good looking tubeless

Weaknesses:
aluminium spokes and nipples get harder to tighten with age not durable amd likely to snap unexspectedly

Overall:
feel guted i spent so much money on these as they havnt lasted at all snapped spokes which mavic insisted has to be replaced in groups of ten at 4 pounds each.front wheel finally exploded unexpectedly and not due to silly riding or jumping

'Very tough, test at North Shore'

Strengths:
Came with bike bought in Canada, good braking and impressive strength. No need to true the wheels since purchase, and I ride regularly

Weaknesses:
Don't want anybody to true them when i crash badly, they may knacker the wheels!

Overall:
Top quality rims that I strongly recommend!

'THE BEST WHEELS MONEY CAN BUY'

Strengths:
Strong, never been trued in 12 months. Light weight - allows fast accleration.

Weaknesses:
None so far after 12 months XC riding.

Overall:
Outstanind quality and light weight construction.

'LIGHT, QUICK, PIMPY'

Strengths:
Light weight
Good hubs
The sexiest wheels bar none

Weaknesses:
Not cheap
My favourite tyres (Panaracer Trailblasters) are crap in their UST guise
Tools supplied (bearing spanner, spoke key) are plastic and pathetic

Overall:
Very very happy with these so far. Dithered about whether to get them (I have the 2002 UST version) and finally took the plunge. They rotate amazingly easily (I'm running standard Trailblasters with latex tubes since I have yet to see a decent tubeless equivalent), and the build quality is superb. They look absolutely gorgeous too, which is a bonus (OK, the main reason I bought them). Getting spares is not the problem some make it out to be - the importer (RJ Chickens) is very helpful and they've so far needed no maintenance whatsoever. Not cheap, but way faster than my Hope/x317 combination they have replaced. Did I mention that they look cool too?

'EXCELLENT.'

Strengths:
Solid, good deep profile making them very stiff and strong.Very fast acceleration and light/low giroscopic effect very quick to turn.

Weaknesses:
Painted spokes Scratch / mark easily should be anodised.

Overall:
Instant performance upgrade the best you can get and UST compatable (If you can find some decent UST tyres)

'VERY EXPENSIVE AND VERY GOOD WHEELS.'

Strengths:
Light weight, strong, and stay true. Excellent bearings,

Weaknesses:
only thing I can quibble with is in the detail. I would prefer them not to be coated in grey and to have less stickers on,

Overall:
These wheels are expensive and are they worth the money? All I can say is they are the best wheels I have ever used. I would have found it difficult to shell out the full price before I owned them, but having used for 12 moths now I would say they might even be worth the price.

'THE BEST'

Strengths:
Everything about the wheel since i got them. they look excellent on my santa cruz superlight anadised blue with hope mini's and they are super strong even after i have had a few crashes. and havent had to true them yet

Weaknesses:
Nothing if you want the best then the price is nothing am thing of buying a second set but 2003

Overall:
the best would recomend them to anyone who want the best wheels. i am also runnng tubless. no real problems athe moment but time will tell.
