'DONT BUY IT'

Strengths:
looks neat
is-lite
got it for 6quid from evans

Weaknesses:
just doesnt work.
it wont pull up the steerer enough to take the play out of the headset no matter what i try.

Overall:
The model i bought is slightly different(has dimples on the top cap)
but its rubbish
bought a head doctor to remedy the problems (should havew done that in the first place) now so in total its cost £24

'BRILLIANT WEE THING'

Strengths:
Simple and effective, dead easy to fit, great adjustment.
Design improved again.

Weaknesses:
It was the rubber spacer, now gone, so no weaknesses.

Overall:
Best stem tightener I've used, doesn't rust like a star nut, doesn't crush your bearings like an Azonic head lock and doesn't drive you insane like Hopes nightmare plug.

'SIMPLE TECHNICAL SOLUTION, EASY TO FIT'

Strengths:
Simple to fit & adjust - only one thing to play with. Apparently reliable - done over 100 miles offroad with it now. Stops you over tightening the headset.

Weaknesses:
Get it out of it's box (a v. nice little case which wil get used for storing all those little 'thingys') and it doesnn't look particularly man-for-the-job.

Overall:
Mine looks different to pic here: it's black with a handful of dimples around it's top-cap. Reasonable price, easy to fit, found it much better than a certain 'conix' product I tried first.
