Description: This computer provides tough off-road function for mountain bikers due to its heavy duty wiring kit. It features dual trip distance for two bike use and the dual tyre size means it works great on your road bike aswell as your MTB. It keeps you informed of your current speed, maximum speed, average speed, total distance, trip time and total distance set. The pacer arrow lets you know if you're above or below your average speed to help with target setting. The start and stop can be either automatic or manual and the 12 or 24 hour clock makes sure that you get home in time for tea. It automatically has a power saving mode aswell as featuring a programmable display and being universal fitting.

'GOOD COMPUTER BUT RELIABILITY AND BRACKET ISSUES.'
Strengths: Good display and has all of the basic functions you could need.
Weaknesses: Failed after 10 months, had second one for 6 months. The bracket is an absolute bugger to fit, but once it is on it stays there(but I still hate it). Have to get instructions out when I'm doing something other than every day use. Spoke sensor rusts.
Overall: I've had this for 16 months. I am on a warranty replacement as the first one gave up after 10 months(1000miles ish). This one started playing up recently as well with the automatic timing refusing to start. The unit is robust and water proof as other people have mentioned, mine has also survived being left behind on the road. Would not buy another.
Strengths: Plenty of functions. Strong Wire. Good wheel sensor, easy to fit and maintain.
Weaknesses: Flawed mounting bracket. Fiddly to get clock function up. Wheel has preset sizes so you choose what you want (e.g. 26", 700c, etc). Some people won't see this as a problem but tourers and audax riders like to have precise wheel circumference.
Overall: This is a good computer with one major failing, the bracket doesn't hold the actual computer in place firmly enough. I use it on my commuter/tourer so it's not like i'm rattling down a rocky slope however it has still popped off three times and bounced on the road behind me. For this reason i've marked it poor on performance but in it's favour it must be robust as it has survived these drops with hardly a scratch. So far i've covered 3000km and am happy with it but i wouldn't buy another if it had the same mounting bracket.
Strengths: every thing realy cant fault it. Dont quite agree about the computer coming out of the bracket unaided as Doug Thompson notes as mine clips in reasuringly and stays there. Maybe his is slightly faulty.
Weaknesses: It could come with a rear sensor kit as some people might have problems with the cable and suspension forks but with carefull routing this isnt a problem and i think you can buy a rear kit as an extra.
Strengths: works. cable stops reliability probs with wireless
Weaknesses: falls off, bitch to set up, waste of money unless racing or training, spend too much time looking at figures, which generally tell you that you are slow.
Overall: don't botther with computers generally, i think they are shite! this one fell off on its second ride, at coed y brenin. they are annoying and expensive. SHITE! it did work while it was still attached though.
Strengths: tells you how fast or slow you are going.
Weaknesses: cable is not tough enough mine is not working and ive only had it a year.
Overall: not too bad but as with all computers you become a little obsessed with "how fast am i going, whats my average speed" scince i havent had it on my bike i enjoy riding a lot more.its more fun when you are not competing with yourself all the time.lol
Strengths: Found it easy to set up and accurate once it was set up.
Weaknesses: MOUNTING BRACKET... despite only taking it off on variouse occasions such as at work now & again, & in town, washing bike down, the clip broke after only 6 months.
Overall: Absolutly fantastic product, but have gone for well known brand which twists on - off to avoid losing another expensive product in the mountains somewhere.
Strengths: Got all the features you really need. Seems accurate enough, never given any dodgy readings.
Weaknesses: As others have found, the mounting bracket doesn't hold it securely enough. After popping off several times mine has eventually popped off for good somewhere into the wilds of the Peak District. Press and hold functions (esp clock) were annoying too.
Overall: Can't really recommend it. I won't be buying another. Would be ok if you don't mind strapping it on with Duck tape.
Strengths: large fonts & display has all the relevant features (besides display cyling & light) good manufacturers warranty (see below)
Weaknesses: cable stopped working for no apparent reason, needs to be forced into bracket to prevent unintentional unclipping when buttons are pressed or on rough terrain
Overall: a great product overall, besides the small flaws listed above. After a couple of months the "heavy duty wiring" gave out for no apparent reason. After I complained to the supplier I was supplied with a new set, no charge.
