Weaknesses: Snapped the bolt trying to stop the seatpost slipping. They provide you with instructions which you follow and the bolt still snaps. Then you get charged for the replacement bolt you have to buy (£3.50 plus postage).
Overall: I thought given my previous experience of XLite and their high quality products that this would be bombproof and the end of my seatpost slipping worries. It wasn't. Snapped the bolt after my first ride, ruining my holiday. It just didn't work. If you are thinking of buying one, keep your original and flush £25 down the pan, which is what I've done. Rubbish. Wonder if the QR version is better?
Weaknesses: too weak. snapped as soon as i put it on bike. and i DIDNT overtighten it. CRC showed it to xlite who said i must have done. no boys....you just make sh*t gear!
Overall: dont touch with a barge pole (not that you would anyway.....)
