'TECHNICAL, FAST, FUN, SUNNY: AS MORISH AS CRYSTAL METH'
Strengths: well, where to begin??! quite simply the most fun i've had on a bike...ever! these trails have everything, really tricky slow speed (for me!) technical, to screamingly fast swoopy singletrack. superb accommodation and swimming pool, and Simon and Emma couldn't be better hosts.
Weaknesses: not a lot really, its quite warm in august but i was expecting that before i arrived. It was a nice dry heat so with plenty of water it didn't cause any problems.
Overall: Superb really, i'll be going back as soon as i can. The hardest thing about going back will be deciding whether to ride new trails or doing the same ones again and knowing what to expect! then there is nightriding...
Strengths: we had an ace leader -Owen and as we were a party of 6 we had a place to ourselves in a sort of way. Food was ace and beer/wine came with it.
Weaknesses: Missed out on the classic trail of riding to the seaside
Overall: brilliant choice of trails, really friendly folk and patient with putting up with the slow coaches.
Strengths: with wuperb climbing followed by superbly varied technical descending freeridespain is second to none. I have tried a number of the Spanish set ups and Freeridespain wins hands down. Great hosts, good value, quality guiding on superb trails which they have sought out.
Strengths: Absolutely fabulous, great value/weather/scenery and hosts-and cycling for all abilities.
Weaknesses: None
Overall: Great value holiday for the mountainbike enthusiast .Host,Emma and Simon were very friendly, homely and knowledgeable about their business.A real Home-From-Home atmosphere and every day a new challenge on the very extensive and varied trails.
Strengths: Very easy going, you still felt like you were on holiday even though you were getting your ass ragged up & down mountains in 40 degree heat.
Weaknesses: Local rides are so slow, flat & poxy in comparison
Overall: It was the hardest thing I had ever done, the rides were out of this world & our guide [Ryan] tried to kill us - constantly. But was awesome & can not wait to go back. We were well looked after (a part from the attempts on our life) & got to partake in extra curricular activities such as hippie bashing & dog fighting (Bella picking on Oscar). Was fab, learnt a lot, had a laugh. Did I mention it was hot?
Strengths: Knowledgeable guides Great rides Great Accomodation
Weaknesses: Only my own ability in 40C heat!
Overall: Fantastic holiday. So good booked a return trip 3 days after getting home. Brilliant guides made us feel like we'd ridden with them for years.
