Strengths: Trails, more trails than you can shake a s@#&y stick at, and all at varying degrees, this place can cater for all abilities. Whistler has the bike park and many epic xc trails, then down the road at squamish and pemberton, there's even more. Chalet, top quality spaceous canadian living, fantastic surroundings, food is top notch. Staff, excellent guides, they add to the experience, showing you the best trails and then helping you to get the best out of them. Location/town, excellent nightlife, laidback hasslefree atmosphere and superb watering holes.
Weaknesses: The only dilema is what to do each day, huge choice!!!!
Overall: Its on the list of things to do before you die, if your a mountain biker!!! You won't be disappointed, for more info check out www.ticket2ridebc.com or www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=28445020025 for photos and video footage
Strengths: Everythings provided for you, your only worry every day is what to do, there's too much choice and you won't be dissapointed with whatever you choose.
Weaknesses: Holiday always too short!
Overall: Been out there the last two years with them and have made my booking for this year too. I can only manage 7 days holiday, but believe me you'll want more than that.
Chalet and staff are all excellent and it's situated only a short walk/ride to the village and bike park, with a supermarket just 5 mins up the road too that stocks the elixir of life - Sobe!
T2R have a fleet of 4x4's to get you to the most remote trails in Pemberton, North Shore, Kamloops...etc.
Back at the Chalet they have a fully serviced workshop, mechanic and spares. Should anything go wrong with your bike they can even rent you a rig whilst it's fixed.
The guides and instructors go out every day with XC, All Mountain and Freeride Groups, they cater for you so you ride exactly what suits you.
For an all inclusive, no worries holiday you can't beat it :o)
Strengths: I've been riding mountain bikes for 14 years now, and this is quite simply the best singletrack I've ever ridden. Great post-ride atmosphere as well.
Weaknesses: Lack of time to ride all the trails...if thats a weakness!!!
Overall: I went out to Whistler with T2R last year for two weeks, and have just re-booked for a longer stay this season!!! The T2R guys are a really friendly bunch, with plenty of local knowledge. Accomodation and food were great, but the main thing was meeting up with so many like minded people in such a fantastic setting. Keep it up T2R.
Strengths: The Whistler Bike Park is just so much fun. Lots of jumps, berms, drops, tabletops and bears, all easily accessible on the gondola. The best biking on the planet. Surprisingly affordable.
Weaknesses: I had to learn to ride flats! Errr, that's it!
Overall: I had the best week of riding in my life in Whistler with T2R. I'd hear so much about Whistler and the Bike Park, but it really did exceed my expectations. The big surprise for me was how affordable it all was. My flights were pretty reasonable (£300 rtn), my accomodation with T2R was first class, and I got lots of discounts through T2R, including my lift pass. Back agaion next season for a longer stay. Can't fault the riding or T2R's service.
