'SHARP, POWERFULL'

Strengths:
good braking very sharp if set up right.
look cool

Weaknesses:
lever broke so i got inconsistant brake power.booster bends,bugger to get just right

Overall:
powerfull need bleeding once in a while
but good anyway

'SUPERB BRAKES BUT SERIOUSLY FLAWED'

Strengths:
Power and performance. Changing pads becomes a 30 second idiot proof job. Great feel and adjustability. Price is great with a pair fitted for the price of one disc, plus on original wheels.

Weaknesses:
A bastard to set up properly. Once set up to work resricted me to narrower tyres. Eventually sold bike after brake booster jumped into front wheel when on the flat and not braking. It's only attatched on one side you know. PS. They eat rims.

Overall:
Loved them when they worked, but will now not ride a bike with them fitted.

'TOO GOOD, GET A PAIR.'

Strengths:
amazing power, look lush, work brilliantly.can buy them for about 95 quid now.

Weaknesses:
took a while to fit, but when u fit them they are awesome. had a problem with the pad wear adjusters, they snapped or sumthing. Parts are quite pricey

Overall:
Get a pair if u cant afford discs.

'DEADLY'

Strengths:
Incredibly reliable power. I use them on me DDG 4 trials and they dont let me down. Yesterday I was up to my hubs on a downhill track and the brakes dont change a bit.

Weaknesses:
Seting them up can be a bit fiddly but once done it is worth it

Overall:
What can I say, Magura have done a great job.

'SOD DISCS, GET THESE BABIES!'

Strengths:
had 'em long time, only bled once, still going strong, stop you on a dime! power's good, modulation's good too.

Weaknesses:
HOURS to get just right. Hours. but when done they're excellent

Overall:
couldn't ride anything else anymore! minus the fitting problem, they're truly wicked.
