'SERIOUS HEART RATE MONITOR WITH EXTRA CYCLING BITS'

Strengths:
Looks, versatility, uploads.
Cost £139 at www.deesidecycles.com

Weaknesses:
No trip distance on display. Should have more than one detailed file - have to upload to computer after every exercise if you want full graphs and techy stuff. Some people have had trouble picking up speed sensor details - I havent just mounted sensor neare to top of fork stanchion.

Backlight -Clock w/ alarm
Stopwatch - Interval training function -Recovery function - Lap times with heart rate
Max/Average heart rate of each lap
Downloads data to computer
Uploads data from computer
Cycling functions (average/max speed, odometer, total riding time)

I have had no errors with the readings on this HRM. I put speed sensor near top of front forks and it works 100%. Granted have only cycled 300 miles with it on but no errors so far, even covered with mud etc.
Upload to PC is easy and accurate.
Use it for running as well - you can set up to 5 different exercises and name them so easy to do Triathlon, running, kiting, snowboarding and cycling.
