'CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THEM.'

Strengths:
Great, haven't needed any servicing since i bought them, about 8 months ago. Rolls well.

Weaknesses:
None really.

Overall:
Obviously not as good as a more expensive XT etc hub, but i dont need anything else.
These have done a fair few miles, in england and wales, and i havent had a second look at them.
I dont think you need much more in a hub.

Strengths:
looks good,seems to be well made,

Weaknesses:
maybe a touch heavy,but thats nitpicking

'Yes Yes Yes. I like'

Strengths:
Great to look at. Great to ride.
Super smooth. Very strong.

Weaknesses:
the seal on the disc side look a bit weak. so need cleaning. as should everything else.

Overall:
Ab Fab. What a hub for the price.
Match it with at least a Mavic 521rim
and it will take a hell of a beating, and stay smooth. Also it's not to heavy.

'YOU CAN'T GET BETTER VALUE!'

Strengths:
Looks fantastic
Very smooth
Cheap
Lasts well if looked after
Choice of silver or black

Weaknesses:
Not the lightest of hubs. But not over heavy for the price range

Overall:
Shimanos Deore groupset does it again. Rock solid quality at rock bottom prices. Not as fancy as XT or Hope, but it does the job and doesn't cost the earth. Seals aren't fantastic, but keep it clean and it will put up with anything.....

'GOOD STRONG STARTER DISC HUB'

Strengths:
strong for your average brittish downhills. Cheap so if you are just starting out with discs its the one to start with.

Weaknesses:
a bit heavy but nothing that importiant

'WORKS...'

Strengths:
Turns.
Holds a disk.
Within my tiny budget

Weaknesses:
Weak - axle bends
Heavy.
Looks mank in black.

Overall:
Only have it if you dont care about strength... or weight.

But, its a hub that works. Get it if you want to - it isnt a waste of money. But if you're serious,you'd better go for the british made hope.

Oh, and its much cheaper than hope in rear. But for front, go for a hope xc for 10 quid extra

'DAMN GOOD'

Strengths:
looks, bearings, bolt holes, high tapered sides, bombproof. Good grade of shimano!

Weaknesses:
zilch, nicitty, nada, nuthin!

Overall:
Excellent hub, really smooth, and while we're on the subject of Deore hubs, the rear one makes a real smooth click, sounds expensive! (kinda is, but great value)

'SAFE'

Strengths:
Faster than all catrage hubs.... hope! Can withstand wales and holds a disk!

Weaknesses:
Umm the weird way the spokes go into the hub mean it creakes when dirty and when loose.

Overall:
Its my first Disk hubs so i cant compair it to anyothers all i know is that it works the same as my old hope ultra light hub and my XT rear hub, which buy the way im selling my hope ultra light front hub for £40 any buyers?
