'GREAT BIKE BUT SOME MINOR NIGLES'
Strengths:
Does all the things my previos bike did(Kona Stinky)but is much lighter and pedles worlds better
Weaknesses:
Not impressed with the Manitou fork,the rebound
adjustment nob fell of on my first ride.After my second ride out the rear mech started playing up
I thought this was a bent hanger to start with but found i had cliped the rear mech and bent the swing arm at the hanger mount.It didnt take long to straten it but i thought the mech hanger was supposed to go first.My worry now is that Giant might have gone a little to light on this part of the frame.
Overall:
Besides the problems i have mentioned ubove the bike has been a bit of a revelation to me if my old Stinky had'nt been stolen I would still be riding in the dark ages.

'AMAZING'
Strengths:
Forks, frame, cranks/chainset, rear sus. Really reliable.
Weaknesses:
Brakes a little bit squeeky for the first week or 2. My rebound adjuster fell off on my first ride so tighten it before you go out so you don't loose it if you buy this bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall:
Best bike ive ever really had (apart from Santa Cruz v10, lol)

'NOT QUITE HEAVEN BUT AN ANGEL WAITING TO SPREAD ITZ WINGS?'
Strengths:
Changed my rides enormously, that smile is still there after 12+ months of all terrain rides. Uphill can be a bit of a struggle but downhill just lookout and get outa my way buddy!! Good on technical and heavy enough to take the rough with th smooth.
Weaknesses:
original forks changed to Rock Shok Revelation and changed for the better.
Overall:
Take me anywhere on this one for a big smiley face at the end of the ride. VFM certainly the big GIANT gives that and more. What was all that c**p about changing the rear shock cage? Just clean harder!!!

'WOULD TURN A LYCRA-CLAD WHIPPET INTO A DOWNHILL SPEED FREAK'
Strengths:
really is incredible downhill..the bike just gains more and more speed.it just floats up and over everything, super stable, super plush, pedals really well and also good technical climber
Weaknesses:
really minor things..stock tyres are rubbish, cable routing bit awkward and paint rubs of a bit easily
Overall:
This bikes has completed changed my riding; I now ride so much more in terms of difficulty and speed. The bike can outclimb hardtails on technical climbs but goes down hill like a DH bike. The only downside being that all too often you can find yourself at a ridiculous speed over scary terrain. It could push to ride beyond your capabilities.

'A HOOLIGANS BIKE'
Strengths:
superb ride, takes every thing i can throw at it (tho im not a phycotic loonatic that goes off cliffs) climbs supperbly and is an easyer ride up hill than my lighter k2 suspension is well ballanced and keeps the bike feeling in control
Weaknesses:
only one so far and thats the brakes but more due to personal preffeance replaced them with 185 rotor juicy 5's front and rear oh and the tires aint to good either but then you soon replace tyres any way
Overall:
this bike can turn a mild mannered cyclist into a hooligan ..and is supperb vallue for money when you look at the spec and the fun you get from it
