'cool and comfortable from across the globe'

Strengths:
More pockets than a shoplifters coat, all fastening. lightweight construction extremely comfortable ideal for a quick blast or all day slog

Weaknesses:
none these shorts are perfick.

Overall:
I had been looking for some shorts to stop the callouses forming on my behind and these are the holy grail. Excellent contruction & breathabillty keep you cool were you need it! & warm were you dont. the build quality is second to none and the little extras just make your day, punture repair patches sewn into the pocket lining!!!.

'THE BEST BAGGIES'

Strengths:
well made, comfortable, good looking baggies. Excellent service from Ground Effect too.

Only available via the net? Check the sizing too, it's on the website, as they are larger than some.

'REITERATION REITERATION'

Tell your mum NOT to iron them! my mum tried and just about burnt them

'STYLE... ON & OFF THE BIKE'

Strengths:
Comfortable padding and inner short; generous sizing; fantastic cut for the lower back; price & service from the guys in New Zealand out-classes more local out-fitters.

Weaknesses:
erm... perhaps that you can't try before you buy ('cause some people like to).

Overall:
Absolutely fantastic. Comfortable for day long rides; shrug off light rain; and retain their style for the mid-session pub lunch... what more could you ask for?

'BAGGY WONDERFUL!'

Strengths:
Cool and comfy on hot days, warm and comfy on cool days. Pockets big enough for OS map, rear cut keeps your bum warm. Very light, shed water well in drizzle or downpour, totally unaffected by contact with the trail - unlike me!

Weaknesses:
Make sure you get the right size - they are cut generously.

Overall:
Favourite wear from warm spring to chilly autumn, usually wear other shorts when I haven't washed these! Another great one from Ground Effect - try Montzumas, Baked Beanie, Chipolatas, etc., they are all great clothes.

'TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING'

Strengths:
great quality, pockets galore, good service, funny catalogue.

Weaknesses:
I confess, I'm a summer cycletourist, usually France, and the inner short and thick pad on a 30° day is unbearable, so much so that I'm ripping it out. G E now do a linerless version of their ladies short called Martinis, but requests for a similar product for men have fallen on wool-filled NZ ears.

Overall:
Love your stuff, GE but how about a linerless nylon short for men? P-l-e-a-s-e? PS and you could extend the colour range of your tops too.
