Strengths: GOOD ALLROUND LIGHTING PERFORMANCE, SNUG FITTING DURABLE AND FLEXABLE IN USE IE 4W 6W.
Weaknesses: BATTERY IS HEAVY AND CROSS BAR MOUNTEDIN ITS OWN LITTLE BAG (BUT A BOTTLE TYPE BATTERY CAN BE PURCHASED)
Overall: I WOULD HAVE TO SAY FOR THE PRICE THESE LIGHT'S ARE GREAT VALUE, THERE UP WITH CAT EYE ETC WITH LIGHTING PERFORMANCE, AND AT HALF THE PRICE AND THAT CAN'T BE A BAD THING, THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE HEAVY BATTERY BUT IN WINTER THE EXTRA WEIGHT ANT SO BAD, IT HELPS TO MAKE STRONGER LEGS, IF ANYONE ASKED ME ABOUT LIGHTS I WOULD NOT HESITATE IN SAYING SMART.
Strengths: Well made, good beam pattern, quick to fit and remove
Weaknesses: Selector switch is a pain - can only cycle between low beam / high beam / low + high /off. This means that to go from low+high to low, you have to click through the off setting. This can be interesting on dark country roads...
Overall: Strongly recommended quality kit at a very good price
Strengths: Decent battery life, easy to adjust beam direction, and good light coverage (mine is a 10w plus 2.4w)
Weaknesses: The button that releases the light from the bracket is not well designed and flimsy (on mine the spring mechanism no longer works properly). Battery is fairly heavy.
Overall: I would recommend this light, especially when riding on country roads.
Strengths: Price Battery life Easily removable from bike
Weaknesses: Battery weight ? Large size
Overall: I've used the 10w/2.4w lights for a couple of years now and find them to be ok and very good value, and they've dropped in price since then. We can't all afford Lumicycles and these are not bad lights at a fine price.
Strengths: Great power at your fingertips, easy to use and good sealing from the elements. can also be over volted
Weaknesses: cheap, flimsy mounting bracket broke after 1 year but i suppose it served me well during that time.... :-) battery is heavy for all u weight freaks and um short battery life on full power although, that is to be expected
Overall: great value for money, but durability is a factor to consider. if u dont mind replacing them every year or so then they are great. they are powerful and bright, ideal for light offroad or onroad commuting
Strengths: Good light output. On unlit roads I can ride at almost full pace with just the 10W headlight. Having both on at the same time doesn't seem to make much difference. I like the bottle battery and don't mind about the weight. The price is the thing that sells it (if you excuse the pun).
Weaknesses: The bracket is flimsy. Having said that it hasn't broken yet (it's into its 3rd year). The switch is starting to misbehave and the lens and reflector are showing signs of aging.
Overall: Good value for money, especially for cyclists on unlit roads.
