Strengths: 16l internal capacity with and extra 4l i pouches and pockets. Handy top section for keys, phone, tools etc. Pouches for extra reservoirs, elasticated netting for carring a helmet, and a seperate back pocket for a camel back.
Weaknesses: none, nadda, zip, nil, ZERO, well maybe the price...
Overall: This is quite the best bike specific back pack i've seen. The companies British, so your supporting the economy, you have no excuses - BUY ONE.
Strengths: External pouch for bladder, huge main section, attached rain cover, v comfy - cylcing specfic design.
Weaknesses: None that I can think of yet.
Overall: Took this to the 7 Hills with a full change of clothes, 2l camel bladder plus tools, pump etc. Got absolutely p*ssed on for most of the ride but the rain cover kept everything dry & I hardly noticed I was carrying it - worth every penny. Too early to tell how it will last.
Overall: I bought this bag for someone else, but I've 'borrowed' it a few times and it's lovely. Just make sure you pack it right and, like with all rucksacks, make sure you set it up right. Very comfortable, and you can buy a bladder for it for £20 extra.
£40? Compared to the prices of other bags I've seen that's a bargain.
And soon, if said person doesn't start using it, it'll be mine all mine. Buwahahahaha!
Strengths: Bought it nearly 2 years ago. Still going strong. It gets used for daily commuting & longer rides. Use a Camelbak Lobo for shorter outings and the Rushair for anything over 5 hours (put the 2L bladder from the Lobo in plus a bottle). Sits nicely on the back, and doesn't move around due to plenty of straps
Weaknesses: Have to pack properly due to the long thin shape. If you put too much in the top carrier, it cracks you on the back of the head on the Downhills.
Overall: Perfect for what it is. Would recommend this to riders on all dayers. Paid top price (£50) in August 2000 ....... Been worth it though
