Description: One week centre based most meals included. Support vehicle and on some days cable car used to get to start of rides. Picnic lunch delivered by support vehicle.

'Excellent riding in an under visited part of Spain'

Strengths:
Good variety of riding, alpine trails from the cable car. Single track and bridleway lower down in the valleys. Unspoilt region of Spain, lots of rustic charm, spectacular scenery. Great food and wine. Small group size. Excellent guide.

Weaknesses:
Weather, the rain in Spain falls mainly on the Picos. We had two bads during the week. Not many flights to choose from, long transfer from Bilbao airport. Costly.

Overall:
If you can afford it and can take a chance of some iffy weather this area has some great riding. Much more variety than parts of southern Spain that I've been to. Not having to rub shoulders with the great unwashed is a bonus.
