Strengths: Having run these forks for 8 months now they have soaked up everything i have thrown at them. Drops, jumps and Welsh singletrack.
Weaknesses: Yeah, they may be heavy but that weight is reasuring isn`t it? I have also noticed a clicking when on smooth ground but just assumed it was the valves in the legs.
Overall: Low maintainance, low price and high quality. Stick `em on a hardtail, get your weight to the front and enjoy. Don`t worry about the weight as the uphill struggle is worth it coming back down.
Weaknesses: My decals came of the 1st time they got wet, clicky noise on rough tarmac surface, Can anybody help me sort this????
Overall: Some bargins about on these forks, get looking. Will be totally happy once annoying clicking has gone! I notice Pete Burrell reported teh same clicking problem!
Overall: Finally found a fork that suits my mounaitn bike tandems - Look and KHS. I didn't even need to change the springs - 0.7 bars in the air preload is enough. They soak up abuse like nothing I've ridden before and I can still put my feet flat on the ground when I stop.
Strengths: They have sweet travel and a good damping system. These monsters will not snap or pop on you. They are also extreamly adjustable
Weaknesses: There's nothing wrong with them, some people think that they are too heavy, but thats what you get for dirt jumping and having 32mm stanchions!
Overall: These are great forks, I can handle 30ft lips and launch 40 sets of stairs! Very affordable. A great fork.
Strengths: strength - these things arent going to give up easily! nice anount of very progressive travel.
Weaknesses: clicky sound. very heavy indeed!
Overall: beast of a fork, only not for serious xc use, unless you're some beast yourself! look cool too, and work very well. simple and quite adjutable, very cheap.
