'BUY SOMETHING ELSE'
Strengths:
reflective, waterproof, warm, vents
Weaknesses:
zips break rendering it useless. CHest zip broke after, oh 35 minutes, and the main zip after about 6 rides. it no longer zips up or down.
Overall:
shame the cheapskates at Altura didn't spend an extra 10pence on decent zips. Used to be a decent brand.

'STYLISH HI VIS JACKET'
Strengths:
Really good cut, with dropped tail, and lengthy arms, but not overly baggy.Surprising waterprooof given that its meant only to be shower resistant.Very effective windproofer too.I`ve worn mine on really cold days with just a short sleeeve jersey underneath.Looks good off the bike aswell as on it,if you go for the grey colour. My wife keeps nicking mine to wear!
Excellent low light visibility.I bought mine after following another cyclist at dusk and seeing how effective it was at making him visible to motorists.
Weaknesses:
Can get a tad clammy if you are riding hard.
Overall:
Good do it all jacket.Good lowlight visibility without the need for day glo colour!

'Looks good, fairly breathable, comfortable'
Strengths:
Not too gimpy looking (in the graphite I have anyway) but had enough reflective piping etc to make you seen. You look like an MTBer rather than a commuter.
Quite breathable. Mesh liner, vents all over.
Weaknesses:
Its not £120 jacket so could be more breathable/waterproof.
Overall:
Good value jacket. I was surprised at how much steam/heat the jackwet let out on those wet but warm commuting days. Also a preety good lightweight jackwet for offroad days. Folds up small. Looks pretty cool too I think, even off the bike. Good value I'd say.
Can't comment on reliablity yet but construction looks good.
