'Light, smart, but Space-R'

Strengths:
MUCH lighter and more versatile than Azonic headlocks for thye same price. Threaded all the way up.
Bottom "nut" seals the head tube

Weaknesses:
The Space-R's were a very slack fit on the steerer.

Overall:
The Space-R's were a very slack fit on the steerer, especially the 2.5mm - much loosers than the brand-X spacers they replaced. The 2.5mm slopped about so much that it was very hard to get it to stack up on the the other rings. In the end I had to sandwich it between the old brand-X's, for an interesting silver-blue-silver striped colour scheme.

In summary - nice headlock, let down by the spacers. Great value if the Space-R's worked better!

'A PILE OF CR@P SEEING AS IT DONT TFIT MANY FORKS'

Strengths:
Looks great, seals steerer tube, looks effective

Weaknesses:
Bottom collar and seal jus dissapears up fork steerer so it dont clamp on some forks (specially bombers and rst's)

Overall:
Brought this, seeing as it dont fit and package dont say it aint compatible with some forks (got 1/ 1/8 steerer type!) its gotta be the biggest waste of £18 in my life!!!!!!!

Heard it does perfrom well though on forks that it dares to fit...

'GOOD IF YOU LIKE IT LIGHT. PANTS OTHERWISE'

Strengths:
Light
Works in some forks

Weaknesses:
Too light and weak - it didnt give me the peace of mind that my new azonic one does.

Overall:
Good product, but check it'll fit your forks before you buy it!
If you want strength, or dont mind weight, i'd go for the Azonic one, but i think it's down to personal preference really.

'SUPER-LIGHT IF IT FITS....'

Strengths:
Very light, neat design...

Weaknesses:
but as other reviewers have pointed out - only fits some forks (if only I'd read the reviews first - D'oh!!). If you have just bought one - then don't despair as B&Q can help you out. All you need is a pair of washers one metal the other rubber of a suitable size and fit them between the bottom end of the steerer and the clamp. Less than ideal - but means you haven't entirely wasted 18 quid. I have contacted USE but it's been over a week now (22/11/02) and they've not got back to me....
Haven't seriously abused the bodge yet but it seems to be holding up...

Overall:
However nice, flash and light a bit of kit is - if it doesn't immediately do what it is supposed to do then it's bloody useless.
Frankly don't bother...
