Strengths: Possibly the lightest proper downhill frame and forks, adjustable shock mount. Rides really well. Orange will repair some types of frame damage.
Weaknesses: At the price you could spec your own components and save money. Standard my 2006 had 25.4mm bars, no direct mount stem, no tubeless rims. TF Tuned Boxxer Team forks with a titanium spring would be better and cheaper than WC solo airs IMHO. The X0 rear mech is overkill, if you downhill a lot one day you will crash or hit it on a rock and it will be knackered, X9 is £100 cheaper and almost as good. I would prefer an even lower pivot position similar to my Gemini to make it even more active.
Overall: Expensive for a simple (ie non linkage) frame design but it does work well. Despite the weaknesses above I like mine a lot since I value the light weight highly. I fitted 31.8 bars, E13 direct mount stem, tubeless rims and tyres. With this as standard and a titanium main spring it may be worth the rrp. Alternatively build from a frame or get the cheaper race version and upgrade it to your preference, the result may well be cheaper and better.
