'SUPER PIMP SHIFTERS ?'
Strengths:
carbon body fast shifting and light weight.
Weaknesses:
Well, when they go wrong, no one want know.Shifter for the back mech gave up 3 week ago just started sliding thorough thumb leaver I checked cables and the shifter itself all looks fine. So I would say thats something moved or is worn inside,I have used the bike about once a week some times twice for less then a year, the trigger were brought over year ago when building new rig.
Overall:
just hope if yours go wrong its inside one year warranty HELP.

'OUTSTANDING. BLOWS THE 'BIG S' INTO THE WEEDS.'
Strengths:
The first thing you'll notice is the speed of the shifting. With only minimal effort you can up and down shift with great accuracy and there's certainly no guesswork or riding along looking down at your back cassette to make sure your in the gear you wanted. They're super light and asthetically pleasing, they say the simplest inventions are the best and the XO shifters personifies this.
Weaknesses:
Oddly, they can be too sensitive. If you so much as look at them they'll dump the chain downwards which can be a little annoying. I found (with my huge sausage fingers adourned with bulky gloves) the levers get in the way but with clever positioning, you soon get use to it.
Overall:
Super-accurate shifting and lightweight. They look great and are well built. Worth the cash.

'THE BEST I'VE EVER USED.'
Strengths:
Very smooth, very reliable and very pimpy !!
Weaknesses:

Overall:
I changed from the Shimano combined shifters which were just lousy, to these and in all the time I've had them (nearly two years), and hundreds of miles not once have I had to adjust them, what more can you ask for !!

'SHIFTING LIKE IT WAS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO BE.'
Strengths:
It does everything a shifter should do - only _better_ than the rest of the competing components today. More precisely shifting - like clicking a contact on the wall - better ergonomic adjustment and, last but not least, the coolest look.
Weaknesses:
None within reason. Remember, price is relative to quality, and weight figures is for self uncertain weight weenies.
Overall:
If you want the best shifter on the market today, buy these shifters. Lie to your spouse about the price you paid for the thing, never mind the fact that there's lighter shifters around. Just be happy with the fact that you own the best product on the market.
