Description: The Simple Tension Seeker is designed for harder riding styles, fit it for Street, Dirt Jumping and Trials, the stainless steel arm is tough and tucked out of harms way and the PU pulley runs on sealed bearings for durability. It converts geared bikes to single speed and bolts into most vertical dropouts in minutes, tensioning the chain is simple, the STS is then securely clamped in place. The STS is now available as a combo kit with the Single Speed Spacer kit.

Strengths: the dmr tension seeker is a great purchase for anybody converting a geared bike into singlespeed. it runs very smoothly and is extremely easy to fit.it is also a great buy for only 20 quid.it will fit onto almost any frame aswell making it very compatible.
Weaknesses: the plastic round runner is tough enough to withstand beatings but only normall sized chains will run hrough it so if you try fitting a motorbike chain for extra strength it will not fit in the runner.
Overall: great buy for anyone wanting to convert to singlespeed with no dificulties and at a low budget.
Strengths: I've been running this on my Explosif for a couple of months and it's worked very reliably (and quietly) all the time (both on- and off-road). Not too pricey, although you could probably get the same effect with a rear-mech.
Weaknesses: wheel-changing is a bit more fiddly than with a rear-mech, but nothing that will kill you. Range of adjustment is a bit limited when trying to get the chain taut.
Overall: It made me feel much more assured about going over to single-speed.
Strengths: Used this to convert a 12 year old Tufftrax frame into a single speed as a bit of run. Dead simple to fit, works really well and has bought new life into the old bike. Bonus points for DMR as I lost one of the retaining bolts and after a quick phone call and a replacment arrived the next day.
Weaknesses: Needs a narrow chain. Will not fit a BMX chain. It's a bit pricey.
Overall: Does what it says on the tin. Really simple, one moving part so not much to go wrong.
