Strengths: stiff as you like, fairly good price, can be overhauled
Weaknesses: Not had it long enough to find any.
Overall: Got this as there were no xc ones left at the time, and I really needed a bottm bracket. Heavier than the XC ISIS, but i'm not really bothered about that. Keeps my Raceface Turbines spinning smoothly and flex-free.
Overall: Got to disagree with the previous comments. Had mine for about a thousand miles and the spindle wobble was incredible. But guess what? I have replaced it with another due to favourable comments from everywhere and believing that I have been a tad unlucky in buying a defective bracket. Will add another comment regarding this in six months ...........or perhaps sooner!
'YET ANOTHER LONG LASTING ISIS B/B....................NOT!'
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: the bearings and that stupid o-ring thing.
Overall: Just as bad as the FSA b/b (also reviewed) It may take punishment on big drops and jumps but once the pedals start going round that it, the bearings just jump out of the shell-literally! I've cut my losses now and bought a new XT hollowtech II which i could have bought twice over with the money i have spent on ISIS bottom brackets in the past two years.
Strengths: couldnt beat a pea in an arm wrestle...useless!!!
Weaknesses: bearings are totally crap had mine 3 months since after christmas and they have gone already the spindle has stiffened up and the cups keep coming loose...POO!!!
Overall: i wouldnt reccoment this BB to my cat and i dont even have a cat!
