Strengths: warm, windproof and waterproof. thin construction:plenty of feel. amazingly good for such a thin construction superbly windproof
Weaknesses: suffers slightly from being a glove rather than mittens on really cold days. but even at 0° they have kept me from freezing on the way to work. maybe needs a thin liner for really really <-1° temperatures.
Overall: usual endura high quality. great wrist coverage. superb. recommend them to anyone with an average amount of flesh. racing snakes may need a liner.
'TRENDY LOOKING AND GREAT FOR KEEPING THE WIND OFF.'
Strengths: Really nice fit and feel. Good velcro fastening. Look very cool - very 'technical.' Nice grips and tiny pads below palm. Seem really well made. They should last ages if you don't tug them off too violently. Windproof. Definately waterproof (No wet got through with my hand under the bathroom tap!!)
Weaknesses: Switch to something else as the temperatures near freezing. I get cold hands fairly easily and these gloves aren't at all insulated.
Overall: I got these for winter riding (wiggle.com), but found them completely inadequate in the cold. However, I plan to wear these for every day during non-winter times!
Strengths: Nice lightweight gloves that dont restrict movement. good fit, good reflective bits on the back. really good at keeping the rain out.
Weaknesses: not that good at keeping me warm. i bought them as a winter glove but they arent good enough for glasgow. i do get pretty cold hands but if the temp is getting close to zero these dont keep me warm enough. i have used liners but they restricted my movement too much.
Strengths: well made, good looks, quite technical, price not too bad, good long cuff to stop wrist chill.
Weaknesses: The fact is, these gloves are advertised and sold as waterproof, and they are simply not. I dislike products marketed on fiction. I used tham last Sunday in heavy rain, and they weren't the slightest good in keeping my hands dry. Not that it mattered. Today, I tried Mark's test (above) but I actually turned the tap on. The water ran through the glove and of course it would because the seams are not welded, so they ain't waterproof. They're not very warm either. That matters.
Overall: Sending them back for a refund. They don't do what it says on the box. Bet I can buy better.
Weaknesses: Wore these at the start of Winter on a rainy day and after about an hour they gave up. The gloves were full of water and my hands were frozen.
Overall: I'm not sure what the point of these gloves is? If it's not too cold then thinner gloves are ok and give you better grip and feel and if it is cold then you will need better gloves than these! They're not really windproof, they're certainly not waterproof, basically they are a waste of space.
Strengths: Lightweight, freedom of movement, reflective patches on back.
Weaknesses: Not warm at all. They make your hands feel cold before you go on the bike! Not useable below 5 degrees. Considering the effect of windchill while cycling, this makes these gloves pretty useless.
Overall: Over rated and over priced. My £2 fleece gloves from Tesco are better value and give better performance!
