'BIG SMILE ON MY FACE.'
Strengths:
Roll well, quietly, puncture-free. Grip is good.
Weaknesses:
My wife wants a pair.
Overall:
Put them in place of some Michelin 24 DH 2.5" tyres as 8 miles on road was taking over 60 minutes and my Ground Effect merino top was not wicking enough to deal with my sweat. Still the bike looks good (important), rides well (just as well), I sweat less (great!). Good choice.

A tip: buy a pair on the ebay for £20.

'BIG COMFY EASY ROLLING ALL ROUNDER'
Strengths:
Suprisingly quick. Very stable. Excel on all rocky surfaces where others tires are skipping about horribly.
Weaknesses:
Bit heavy I suppose. Not brill in mud but I am comparing them to 1.9 Trailrakers which are my favourites in slippery / muddy conditions
Overall:
I thought these would be too heavy and spoil the ride wherever it turned uphill but this is not the case. Give(me)loads of confidence and speed on rough surfaces. I run them at low pressures so they mould around rocks n stuff - they perform best like this - with no pinch flats either (on a full sus XC rig). Definately worth considering. Tyres I have used to compare against: Mythos XC, Velociraptors, Kenda XC 2.1's, Trail-Rakers, Geax- not sure which, Cinders on a mates bike (v good also)

'GOOD ALL ROUNDER - SO FAR'
Strengths:
Large volume , fast rolling
Weaknesses:
Let go a bit too easily on corners in the dry and a bit too big for a standard 717 rim
Overall:
Generally happy , need to ride them through the summer to see how well they last.
