Strengths: I was pleased with the lightness and flexibility of this lock. It coils up into a relatively small bundle that slips easily into a backpack or can be attached to the frame of your bike. It's long enough to get it round your frame and a chunky lamp post.
Weaknesses: I forced mine to lock when really I'd overstretched it (my bike was too far from the post I was locking it to) and when I returned I discovered that the cylinder-type lock was completely knackered. I unlocked it, but the key just spun round in the lock after that and I had to retire it.
Overall: Mine served me well for a couple of years, but I suspect only because nobody tried to attack it while it was in use. If your bike's worth anything, don't use this for anything other than locking your wheels to your frame. Get something much tougher to secure the bike itself.
Strengths: Very flexible, bends up to put in your bag, good for wheels
Weaknesses: although I trust this lock when used with other locks, I wouldn't use it as a main lock, only for wheels, no problems so far with lock
Overall: this is a good lock for using as a second secure locking device, ideal for front wheels and frame, wouldn't use this lock alone though as I know it can be easy to unlock if you know how to, but good for a second lock, hasn't been affected by weather or been tampered with since I got it two years ago.
Strengths: Light, flexible and secure enough for a not too great town bike. Connector for the frame works pretty well.
Weaknesses: Not the best security for a decent bike. Acts as a big basin for water if it has rained. Rusts quickly to the point that I have went through a couple as they seized up. The first lasted a year with occasional oiling. The second barely lasted a month. Have seen others struggling like I did for an hour to get the thing off
Overall: Good for the dry on a cheap bike but don't get it if your bike will be left locked up in a place where it rains frequently
