'BRLLIANT RIDING, EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION AND NICE HOSTS'
Strengths:
Great riding, tuition for beginners, amazing scenery and good local cuisine
Weaknesses:
None (weather could have been better but that couldn't be helped)
Overall:
My girlfriend and I spent the last week of October 2008 in the company of Martin and John and had a great time. Whilst Martin and I hit the black runs at the beginning of the week, John took my girlfriend Julia out and provided some excellent tuition as she has just started riding. The trails in Spain are excellent though due to some really horrendous weather, we weren't able to do the Zuheros ride or any of the trails at the Bat Cave. Still, we both had an amazing time and by the end of the week, Julia was hitting the black runs with the rest of us. We will definitely be going again :-)

'1ST CLASS TUITION,GUIDING, LOCATION, WEATHER, FOOD, ACCOMMOD'
Strengths:
All of above. Whatever you need to work on you will get all the help you need.
Weaknesses:
riding all day, party all night -tough but somebody's got to do it!
Overall:
Great set up,even if you don't ride partners would still enjoy the surroundings and facilities. (but what a waste)! As the best bit is the guiding and tuition available.

'GREAT GUIDES, SCENERY, AND ACCOMMOODATION'
Strengths:
Accommodation and facilities very comfortable - showers always hot!
knowledgable guides, friendly hosts, good variety of trails. good bikes with good setup. group size is just right (8). bodegas next door. Rest day in Seville.
Weaknesses:
I never did find the local shop.
Overall:
I have to declare an interest here - I didn't pay for my trip as i won it on bikemagic ( yes someone does actually win these things!)but my comments would be the same if i'd paid list price. I had a week at the cerro macho base, which suited me as i like peace and quiet. martin, george and john were great and helped me settle in quickly as i arrived a couple of days before the rest of the group. My offroad experience prior to the trip was approx nil but the trails and teaching meant i quickly gained confidence and was tackling stuff at the end of the week i wouldn't have dreamed touching before. and i guess that's what it's all about. Others in the group had a 2 centre hol and raved about the trails here, especially around Cordoba. One guy was a returnee so there's no higher praise is there. Would I go back and pay with my own hardearned? Yep. i'm thinking of doing it on the road, though, which is now a very reasonably-priced option. Just as soon as i get a job....

'GREAT HOLIDAY, REALLY RECOMMEND IT.'
Strengths:
Brilliant accomodation, fantastic riding, loved the Cordoba city ride, and great guides, and great service making sure we always had places to go to.
Overall:
Very good biking holiday, we were well looked after all week. Accomodation was very good, nothing like relaxing in a hot tub with a beer after a hard days biking.

Biking in Spain is something I would recommend to anyone, and Joy-riders is a good place to experience the biking and rural Spain which is a million miles from the Costas. The trip around the Bordegas next door was fantastic, pretty drunk for little money.

'FANTASTIC RIDING, ACCOMODATION AND LOCATION.'
Strengths:
Ride all Day PARTY all night.
Weaknesses:
Errr trying to get an early night.
Overall:
If like me you where thinking how can I get in another biking Holiday and keep the bike widow happy then this is the answer. In the words of the other half the perfect holiday for us both, me out riding all day and her Sunbathing on the fantastic blue flag beaches with not a union jack short in sight. The trails are fantastic good variety every day and some very very demanding if you clean the Psycho decent your a better rider than me. The GMC run was my favorite about 7k of fun!! It would be excellent value for the accommodation alone not to mention the free drink. Some great bars and restaurants near by with a nice Spanish feel about them (no lager louts) cheers guys.

'EXCELLENT TRIP - FANTASTIC RIDING'
Strengths:
The routes at Estepnos were some of the best mountain bike rides we have done and very well researched giving a great variety of riding. Would definitely come back for more.
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
This was our first time with Joyriders and we were Estepona's first guests and what a good impression the team made. Great company and dedicated guides and mechanics. Routes were first class and were tailored to the groups abilities. Can't wait to return for more. Accomodation top classs too.

'GARY,S GOT IT SUSSED!!'
Strengths:
Great rides, free beer!!
Weaknesses:
none! organising 2008 trip, will be in touch soon Gary!
Overall:
I had been organising a trip in 2006 for 8 guys in spain and went to check out other companys on the coast but just didn,t feel they offered the standard of accommodation we wanted. How glad am I that we picked joy-riders.co.uk The converted bodega accomodation is as others have said "outstanding" great en suite power showers, comfy beds, and dining areas both inside and out. Hot tub, pool and a free beer in your hand after what can only be described as sublime rides. Gary and Jude (the owners) have discovered these trails some of which have been unused for years, cleared them by hand and linked together to create wonderful epics.
Catered for at every turn with local knowledge, transport into the surrounding towns, which are real spain, freindly people, great food and very cheap (7-10 euros/head including beer and wine )If you like us have done the Alps and are wanting challenging rides where you have to work for the thrill of the downs you can not get better!
big thanks to Gary,John and Ian.
Happy to supply more info to anyone lots of pics at http://john-mcfarlane.fotopic.net/
