'GREAT COUPLE OF DAYS!'

Strengths:
For a no hassle all inc short break or holiday, I'll definitely recommend toro loco. All you have to do is get to the air port and pretty much everything else is taken care of. Excellent trails( I'm more of a rodie so found some parts challenging)Great road riding. But don't expect a flat route. Ian and James are excellent guides,instructors,local experts and photographers.

Overall:
Accommodation and food are all excellent, Anne's a great cook and you'll never go hungry. great views from her farm.
I'll be back again soon!

'EXCELLENT WEEKS BIKING HOLIDAY'

Strengths:
Excellent riding - tough climbs, tons of singletrack, plenty of rocky technical stuff, almost no road riding!
Accomodation top notch - great food & location - stunning views over Lanjaron.
Friendly & helpful guides.
What more could you want!

Weaknesses:
None

Overall:
I would thoroughly recommend a week with Toro Loco to anyone who enjoys aggressive/technical XC riding!

'AMAZINGLY GOOD RIDING AND HOSPITALITY'

Strengths:
Good descents, tough climbs, excellent scenery, knowledgeable guiding, comfy accommodation, quality food, endless cafes, properly equipped workshop, not too painful airport links and endless real hospitality. Oh and the weather. All really good.

Weaknesses:
None. Having been on nine other riding holidays with five other firms I consider this the best overall package.

Overall:
A great, great holiday that any real mountain biker looking for knarly descents, tough climbs, stunning scenary and plenty of excellent food, drink and company will love.

'FANTASTIC SHORT BREAK BLAST'

Strengths:
Terrific short break good tuition
for the less experienced, ie me.Descents too long climbs too short, i am a roadie though.

Weaknesses:
No weaknesses go along and have a blast.
The riding food and accomodation cannot be beaten.

Overall:
Think 4 days is too short and not worth it? Have 4 days in Spain and you will need a rest.Trip of a lifetime.

'10 OUT OF 10'

Strengths:
Fantastic riding over 4 days. Never a dull moment and plenty challenges for everyone. Accommodation and food excellent. Ian is an excellent guide and great company.

Weaknesses:
No weaknesses that I could find. A brilliant holiday.

Overall:
Thank you for a fantastic time. First choice for MTB holiday in this area.

'WHY GO ANYWHERE ELSE?'

Strengths:
From start to finish well organised and excellent fun. The trails were well matched to our ability, just pushing you far enough under Ian's expert guidance. Ann is a star and a fantastic cook.

Weaknesses:
My legs and rear gear hanger

Overall:
It was like riding with a pal who knows the best places to go and although he is miles better than you still wants to help you have fun and get better. We rode as a 6 with Ian and it never felt rushed or too slow.
And Tony remember a dab doesn't count as cleaning it!

'BIG GRINS FOR FOUR DAYS!'

Strengths:
Slick pick up and drop off. Great accommodation with superb food from Ann. Excellent guiding tailored well to our ability and great fun from start to finish.

Weaknesses:
My failure to heed the advice of Ian and run a tubeless system, and sharing a room with a snoring friend. You know who you are!!

Overall:
Outstanding service and value from start to finish. From the packed lunches waiting in the minibus on arrival to the on trail bike repair course. A fantastic holiday with great guides and great riding. Looking forward to a return trip with puncture proof tyres and bigger lungs to see if I can get James to even break sweat on the hills.

[Update 30/04/08] Once again many thanks to all at Toro Loco for a fantastic and varied 4 days of riding. Food,accommodation,riding and company all excellent as it was on my previous trip. I can't recommend you guys highly enough and look forward to my next visit.

'SUPERLATIVE CENTRAL, NOBODY CAN TOP THIS COMPANY!'

Strengths:
The research that has gone into the trail finding, being able to cater for mixed abilties, on and off trail fixes, perfectly tailored riding, top value and great hosts.

Weaknesses:
None whatsoever!

Overall:
fantastic holiday from start to finish in an idyllic setting, nice accomodation and another wonderful host with excellent cooking skills thankyou Queen Anne. Big thanks to Ian and James, hope your ankle's better soon along with my wrist!

'AWESOME WEEK FOR REAL MOUTAINBIKERS'

Strengths:
Perfectly tailored rides, super technical single track, awesome attention to detail and great people

Weaknesses:
None

Overall:
I have been a mountain biker for 17 years and this was the best run biking holiday I have been on, full stop.

Couple this with Ian's superb local knowledge, ability to fix anything (and we did break some stuff), other local attractions, fantastic accommodation and food Toro Loco is a formidable package.

I will be going back and I will recommend to friends.

'SIMPLY SUPERB'

Strengths:
Ian and James very patient and encouraging guides, both superfit riders, knowledgeable about trails and locations, Ian great bike fixer, great guys to chill with, vino costa and Tapas

Weaknesses:
Being a weak descender on 1 ride some of the drops were a little bit scary (10" path with 100' drop on 1 side) this is "real" steep rocky mountain stuff, but dont let that put you off, all members of party considered and you will get to ride what "you" like, and you are never pushed to do what you're not comfy with, encouraged yes, but not pushed.

Overall:
Superb value,stunning locations,great guiding,comfy accomodation,
"Her Majestys" food, what more can one say.
Oh Yeh, dont sit astride your bike at trails end, unless you want James on a 30lb. Prince Albert up your chuff, Flite saddles have got a very pointy nose,try to save "dead dogs legs" downhill runs till the end and get some uplifts.
