Description: One week exploration by bicycle takes you along the historic Canal de Bourgogne and quiet backroads to fortified villages, chateaux and abbeys which bear testimony to the wealth and power of the church and state in medieval France. The routes are flexible, average 49km per day between nightstops, with the option to extend on longer routes according to the interest of the group, and there is plenty of time for relaxation or independent exploration.
