Description: This new road trip has an excellent mixture of Turkey’s incredible history and landscapes, visiting sites ranging from the ancient Anatolian kingdoms (2000BC) to the lavish Ottoman Empire. The countryside with its rural villages and the beautiful ‘turquoise coast’ of Lycia provide some classic rides. With a free day in the lively port town of Kas there’s also time to relax, or take advantage of the many optional activities on offer such as scuba diving, paragliding and boat trips on the Mediterranean. Our journey concludes with a visit to the ancient city of Istanbul.
