Description: The red route is a firm favourite with the mountain bike fraternity. The emphasis is on fun and you'll have plenty of it along its 19.2km. The trail was the first purpose built route in Glentress and as a result is well bedded in and flows fast through wooded singletrack.
You'll be climbing up twisting trail to a superb view point up high in the forest which overlooks the Tweed Valley. Once you've re-grouped at the top you'll all want to blast down on three sections of fantastic singletrack.
You'll soon be jumping along 41 fun-packed features on the new Spooky Wood descent which is brilliant fun. Now that you've got the hang of jumps you can fly round the berms of Hairy Bear. Soon you'll be entering the Matrix and attacking moguls before the huge berms in Magic Mushroom.
The last descent on the red takes you back to the car park and The Hub with a big smile.
