SO LIGHT!!!!

These shifters are so light to use, you have to get used to the light touch to change gear, the 4 gear change in 1 push is very usefull.
Let in water & crap easy.
These can transform the ride on any bike, my Dawes Acoma feels like a much more expensive bike to ride now.I would never go any lower that XT again. I may even call my next child "XT Deore".Front & RR mech are next!.

Very nice matey!

They work, they keep working for a reasonable length of time. Look nice, light enough. Good, positive action. Excellent ergonomics. Discrete indicator windows.
The first pair filled with grit and stopped working after 2 years - however this 2nd pair seem to be totally different design - much better made. Lots of tiny screws to undo to get to the cable. (never lost any yet though).
The best shifters I've ever used. Won't last as long as thumbies obviously. Paid a lot less than quoted price (£40 1st pair, £25 2nd pair) . Value rating compared to RRP of XT thumbies at £45.
